2010 SMASH Junior Cup
Presented by Dunlop Sport, the 2010 SMASH Cup is one of only two junior tennis tournaments in America to offer top players the opportunity to compete for a wildcard invitation into a Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Premier Event. This prestigious tournament is sanctioned by the USTA, STA and SCTA, and is also one of only five events in state to have a Level 2 SC State Status.
Event Organizers: Family Circle Tennis Center Event Management Staff
Venue/Location: The Family Circle Tennis Center serves as the tournament’s host site, with additional matches held at the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Department’s Whipple Road facility, Daniel Island Club, and the College of Charleston Tennis Complex. The finals of each division are played at the Family Circle Tennis Center.
Participants: Athletes include 350+ regionally and nationally ranked junior tennis players.
Media Coverage: SMASH magazine is published quarterly with a circulation base of 155,000, and is available on newsstands across the country.
